Hi Mum, it's Sammy clone 31 (Part 6)

Marta's home has a washer and dryer.  No more laundromat but now we have to deal with the pain of broken machines. I think someone put way too much soap in, it's being soaping up for ages.

Marta got up early to make breakfast.  That's a sweet sight.

Hi Mum, it's Sammy clone 31 (Part 5)

Another night, another job.  But this one is different, the house owner thinks she has a ghost.  Poltergeists are easy to find, shaking furniture is hard to miss.  Spirits are usually easy too.  But the ghost isn't visible so I have to use my detector to find it.

The home owner was correct, she did have a ghost.  Haunting the upstairs area.

Hi Mum, it's Sammy clone 31 (Part 4)

Well, Mum, I went back the consignment store. I wanted to see if they had any unloved treasures for me. While I was there, I started chatting to this really cute girl Marta.

Marta shares a house with three other Sims. One of them is in a chair in the back. What'sit...hmm I don't think I was really listening to Marta talk about her roomies.

Because I was distracted when I decided to try a little flirting.  Marta definitely enjoyed the attention and made it clear that I could keep it up.

Hi Mum, it's Sammy clone 31 (Part 3)

Well Mum, City Hall called me back.  I've risen to level 4 and the city has another award for me.

This one was a medal.  I'm just putting them in the hall, two awards would make a bare trophy room.

Hi Mum, it's Sammy clone 31 (Part 2)

Well, Mum, I've found the other big part of my pay.  I can sell the spirits I capture to the science lab.  I'm not quite sure what they need spirits for but I really don't want to ask.  It is quite profitable and now I know that the stipend is only a fraction of my true salary.

I had some time and some cash so went to a local dive for a meal.  Not bad as long as you have a cast iron stomach.  Much better than my burnt hot dogs the other day.

Hi Mum, it's Sammy clone 31 (Part 1)

I've gone to apply for a job.  No, Mum, I am not going to be a scientist, thank heavens.  I think that stuff could make you mad.  I've applied to be a ghost hunter.

The pay is rather pathetic.  I have a stippend of about 200 a week.  A week?  A guy might just as well stay home and write novels and starve in comfort.

Then I went to a local gathering spot.  I popped in this one because it had a great sign of a lounging lizard.  No idea what the place is called.  I'm dancing with Milly.

Hi Mum, it's Sammy clone 27 (Part Five)

Not sure why Glen is dreaming of bugs.  I think he already cleaned up the old dishes that had been sitting around.

Poor Byron was half asleep.  Not sure if he was getting into or out of bed at this point.

Feris was lonely so Abby decided to play with him for awhile.  It's so nice that the bigger kids are helping how they can with the three toddlers left.  But we won't have toddlers for long now.

Glen isn't a neat child but the state of the house annoys him to the point that he's been cleaning quite a lot.  Cleaning was never one of my priorities and we simply haven't the money to hire a maid.

It was a bright Sunday morning so I shooed the children over to the park.  I later found out that they decided to hang out together on their own.

In the meantime, I taught Cherry to talk.  Cherry was the only one who could potty, walk and talk by their birthday.  A couple others could walk.  They all did learn potty eventually.

I told Cherry that marriage is very important.  Among the other qualities, it means there are 2 adults in the house and a maximum of 6 kids.  How did I get 7 toddlers and no spouse?  That's still a mystery.

Then the last three toddlers had their birthdays.  First was Eve.

Then Feris.

Finally Cherry.

I finally had the luxury of sleeping until I was ready to wake up.

While the kids did what they liked.

Waking up well rested, that is such a change.  A man could get used to this.

Well, Mum, just a few more things before I say goodbye.

Someone heard about the 7 toddlers and decided that the family needed money.  So we suddenly got 200,000 to spend as we like.  I'm getting the house remodelled, we have a fairly big lot and plenty of space for stuff.

This is just the start, a second floor with bedrooms and an extra bath.  Downstairs is much bigger, another bath here and we are ready to remodel the kitchen and make a couple of offices and a nice playroom for the kids.  This picture is after we added the space, the new doors and windows hadn't quite arrived yet.

I made sure that we had play equipment outside.  Several of the kids love being outdoors and they've already been having fun on this.

There's also a new swimming pool.  I don't think anyone has used it yet but it's there and ready.

I've finally had a chance to make some friends.

It's good to get out and talk to people my own age for once.

Their first day at school didn't start well.  I had a call from the truant officer, the entire lot went to the school playground and not to school.  I made sure they actually went in the building once I found out.  The second day was much better, they all went in to class on their own.

Had a very nice tour of the theatre with Rachel.

I'm quite fond of her.

My other great friend is Thomas.  He's quite a nice guy, very friendly.

So Mum, we all made it.  I'm learning guitar and painting.  The kids are doing pretty well in school now, some of them are nearly teens!  And I'm finally making friends around town.  Plus the occasional tumble with Rachel.  Life is looking very good now.

Hi Mum, it's Sammy clone 27 (Part Four)

Hey Mum, I'm still here and so are the 7 toddlers. No major problems. No repo man. No social services. I haven't collapsed either.

Davy, if you don't want the babies to scream at you, try putting them in the cribs on time.

Abby and Cherry playing with the doll house.  Oh dear, did we forget to feed Cherry?  I wonder how filling doll pieces are?  No Mum, I won't start feeding them dolls no matter how desperate we are.

I had a great dream.  I dreamed of owning a house so big I didn't see a toddler for days.

More potty training and yet another toddler sleeping on the floor.

Cat naps.  Up for 4 or 5 hours, down for 2 or 3.  It's no way for a man to live.  Especially with screaming babies everywhere.

My Eve.  Isn't she a darling?  Well, they are all pretty cute.  I just wish I didn't have so many of them.

Abby finally has potty down.  Oh, don't blame me for the trash.  Davy keeps dropping stuff on the floor after emptying potties.

Walk Abby.  Walk for Daddy.

Yes, he leaves trash on the floor and he's still not the best at bed vs food time but Davy has been very helpful.  The kids like him.

Poor Byron needed a cuddle.  And food.  And a bed.  Damn, I could use a bed too.

Believe it or not, 4 of the toddlers are having their birthday today.  Four!  And Mum, I have failed as a parent.  Not one of them can walk and talk.  They have pretty much learned potty at least.

Glen and the freezer bunny toy.  He was having fun.

I need out of the house.  Go see a movie.  Talk to someone my age.  I'm going stir crazy here.

Well, at least things will be easier now.  The birthdays are here.  Glen was first to grow up.

Then it was Byron's turn.

Both Byron and David had long girly hair when they first grew up.  I had to sort that out with some scissors, they aren't girls.  This is David before we cut his hair.

This is David with a proper boys cut.  At least neither he nor Byron had dresses on when they grew up or I'd wonder if I'd lost my mind.

Abby was the final birthday today.  Four are children, only 3 toddlers left.  Davy left again and I don't think I'll need him tomorrow.  Three toddlers will be a snap.
