Hi Mum, it's Sammy clone 17 (part 6)

I still can't believe that River is now living with me.  It turns out her favorite food is waffles so she'll love having breakfast every day.  I think her next pay goes to a second chair, maybe even a bigger table.  There is something to be said for a regular job.

Still having trouble with the plumbing, but I've done so much plumbing repair work that this tub should never break again.

Well, Mum, you knew this bit was coming didn't you? After I proposed to River and had her move in, there was one thing left to do.

Throw our wedding party.
For some reason, having the party at the beach seems...familiar.  I can't work out why, none of my friends have had a beach wedding.  It's a great location for a great event.

We exchanged rings as the sunset was fading away.

And then we got to indulge in the best bit.  Mmmm, baby, let's kiss some more.  Practice makes perfect and this should be perfect.

Poor River.  I wonder if maybe she had a bit much fruit juice to calm her nerves before the ceremony.  She's certainly not feeling too well.

  1. LOL, too much juice my foot. OMG, that's gross. :D

    I love River's dress. It's beautiful.

I can hear Sammy now. Damned rotten plumbing in this hell hole.

About the beach wedding memory Sammy, I think it's called reincarnation. :D

  2. What, you don't agree with Sammy that River might have had a bit too much booze? LOL

Thanks I restyled one of the long dresses just for the occasion. I spent a bit of time choosing a fabric and colour for her.

Sammy should be grateful to the bad plumbing. He's much handier now. :)

Later Sammy clones have vague echos of earlier Sammy memories. Not precise but they sort of know that something signficant happened.

  3. Guys just can't see things the way us females can. We'll just let Sammy go on believing it was the juice for, oh, another minute or two.:)

It's really fun to dress them up in CAS. I'm not a shopper in real life. I hate dressing rooms. I do love CAS though.

I suppose all that bad plumbing does have it's advantages.

  4. Plus Sammy clones just don't remember what random throwing up means for female Sims. He'll work it out soon enough. Then they'll have to find room and money for a crib.

Some days I'm in the mood to do some serious CAS work and some days it's fling them into something less objectionable and go. :) I'm not much of a shopper in real life either.

  5. Nice shot of River's "bad juice" *cough* episode. Thank goodness she missed that pretty dress! What did Sammy say about practicing? Looks to me he's been practicing quite a bit!

Your beach weddings are always so beautiful.

  6. Yeah, that was a good catch on the puke. :D

  7. Thanks Chrysame. As you know, you have to be fast to catch the action for those things.

Can you practice kissing too often? Sammy doesn't think so.

I love those beach weddings. It's so easy to make them pretty. Pity the guests got stuck and so didn't realise that the wedding was over and they could leave happy. But Sammy will have other great parties.

  8. I keep thinking about all the things a baby needs and how much it will cost the Grants. Yikes.

  9. I've never been fast enough to catch that shot. I have caught a little of it but not like that.

Have to go sleep but hope to see you all tomorrow. It's been fun tonight. Lots of laughs.

  10. Yes, the Grants are going to have to keep at it to get the things the baby needs.

Fortunately, a newborn only needs a crib. While a toddler can use toys, they really don't need them. As long as Mum and Dad can teach them skills, they should age up well. But I'm sure Sammy will want the best for his baby. And he's used to making do with very little money to spare.

  11. I hope Sammy has a boy. He has such gorgeous boys. And they'll make some lucky sim girl very happy.

  12. I'll see what Sammy wants, and what River seems to be carrying. I do adore my Grant boys, I don't think I've had a bad one yet. But he may be dying for a little girl and who am I to deny that?

  13. Give the man what he wants!

  14. Exactly. This Sammy clone has been slaving away to make ends meet. The least I can do for him is let him have the baby he'd like.

  15. :D He should have known it's coming. Now, he had to work realy... really hard. Good luck, Sam!

  16. MJ, If there is one thing this Sammy clone knows, it's how to work hard for small rewards.

  17. Let's see now....baby = crib. Toddler = potty, xylophone, little thing with holes and trips to library. Child = block table. Yep, that's about all the requirements for me.

We know that Sammy loves those babies so much that he will find a way to give them everything they want. :) That is, unless he and River go and do something like have.....omg.....triplets. ;D

    One, two or three PiB?

  18. Oh, poor child, I forgot a bed. I actually did that before in the game.

  19. I'm not doing anything to encourage multiples Dee, so the odds of triplets are very very low. The odds of twins are pretty low too but you never can be sure about that.

The real problem they are going to run across quickly is space. It wouldn't surprise me if Sam wants a second baby when this one turns toddler. But their one bedroom shack isn't exactly made for a family of three or four. Sammy and I will cross that bridge when we get there.

  20. I seem to recall that house. I believe it is the two story with a pond on the property. Very dirty looking plumbing and one bedroom up stairs.

  21. That's the place. I think it's called Mosquito Cove. It's a three room shack. Downstairs is one big room that has the kitchen to one side and the fridge is located on a small porch out the front. Upstairs is a decrepit bathroom and one large space for the bedroom. That's it. And in spite of how basic that is, it still takes nearly all of a Sims starter money to buy it and add a bed.

  22. In Sunset, you have that and in Riverview you have Lucky's old place. Must have a dump in each town.

  23. When a Sim walks up to the front door, there is a moment when they go through a muddy patch because of all the water on the lot. It sounds different when they walk through that bit. Love them details.

Riverview also has that trailer park area. SV has a few cheap houses but not quite as trashy an area. :)

  24. I'll have to listen for that. I do love the details they added to this game. I hate that trailer park. I left it in this time but I usually delete it.
